What is a group ?
A group refers to a set of entities. It can be a group of companies or a group of establishments (of a company). The purpose of creating groups is to define a scope for users; they will only have access to the documents of the companies/establishments of the group to which they belong.
Groups can be created in two ways:
a) Automatically
- For SY members (Cegedim clients):
- The default group, which contains all companies. Each new company created will automatically be added to this group.
- Groups created following invitations: When one of a member's companies is invited by another member, a group is created with the invited company. In this case, the member has two profiles: member and invited.
- For invited accounts:
- The default group of the invited supplier/invited client, which contains the company itself.
b) Manually
- Company groups (members).
- Establishment groups (members and invited accounts).
💡 To identify automatically created groups from manually created groups:
- Italic characters: automatically created groups.
- Normal characters: manually created groups.
The Group Management list displays the default group, groups created following invitations (members), and manually created groups.
